1. Special Beef Rendang Recipe
Ingredient
1 kg beef tenderloin
1 turmeric leaf, torn into pieces
4 lime leaves
2 bay leaves
1 star anise
2 lemongrass stalks, crushed
1/2 nutmeg, pounded
1/2 tsp coriander
2 tsp salt
2 liters coconut milk
Ground spices
Saute ground spices. Add coconut milk.
2. Add turmeric leaves, lime leaves, bay leaves, lemongrass, nutmeg, and coriander. Stir until boiling.
3. Add the meat. Cook while continuing to stir over low heat until it looks oily.
4. Cook until the water reduces and oil comes out while stirring occasionally. Turn off the heat. Remove and serve the beef rendang.
